Hello, My name is Jessica Hoban and I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself and I am your child's Social Studies teacher! I am very excited about your child learning more about Social Studies! This will not only be new to your students but new to me as well. This is my first year teaching. I was a substitute last year here at Walley so some of your children may remember me. I have received my Bachelors from Ashland University. When it comes to Social Studies it is easy to get into the habit on just following along in the text. I want to help your child enjoy Social Studies and be engaged through activities. I plan on teaching many things this year and some of those things are Native Americans, 17th century, Resolve conflict, Racial and ethnic groups, explorers, latitude and longitude, and etc.
